A satisfied client in need of more storage space and a polished, durable floor turned to us to tackle their garage transformation. Here’s how we turned their vision into reality.
Our client had a clear goal: maximize the back wall of their garage from top to bottom with cabinets, and give the garage floor a fresh, durable finish. They were looking for a way to increase storage capacity while ensuring the garage maintained a sleek, organized look. Additionally, the existing floor needed an upgrade that would not only enhance the space visually but also stand up to the demands of daily use.
To meet these objectives, we designed a custom storage solution that would make the most of the available wall space. We installed a combination of tall cabinets, base cabinets, and stacked upper cabinets, creating a seamless, functional storage system that covers the entire back wall of the garage. These cabinets offer ample storage for everything from tools to seasonal items, keeping them off the floor and neatly tucked away.
For the work surface, we added a true maple butcher block, which serves as a sturdy, functional area for projects, repairs, or organizing smaller items. The warm tones of the butcher block complement the overall design, adding a touch of elegance to the garage while remaining practical and easy to maintain.
To complete the transformation, we coated the garage floor with Creekbed epoxy flooring. This color not only enhances the overall appearance of the space but also provides a durable, easy-to-clean surface that resists stains, scratches, and wear. The epoxy coating gives the garage a polished, high-end finish while protecting the floor from everyday damage.
The final result was a garage that felt more like an extension of the home rather than just a storage space. With maximized cabinet storage and a beautiful, durable floor, the garage was transformed into a highly functional and organized area.
